CNA Course
This course is designed to prepare students to obtain nursing assistant certification in the State of Wisconsin. This course includes 59 hours of lecture, lab, and theory as well as 16 hours of clinical experience.
- Through lecture, videos, and lab practices students will learn skills such as bathing, dressing, positioning, and vital signs.
- The CNA training course will prepare students to provide quality care in hospitals and long-term care facilities.

CNA Course Admission Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age (applicants under the age of 18 require written permission from a parent or legal guardian in order to enroll).
- Must be able to read, write and understand English at 9th grade level.
- Must present a valid Driver’s License or State ID.
- Must present a Social Security Card.
- Must provide documentation of a negative 2-Step Skin TB test, TB blood test or a chest x-ray for TB. Test must be completed within 90 days of your last clinical day and results should be given to the office staff on or before the first day of class.
- Must provide proof of receiving a seasonal flu shot (Classes that start or end October 1st - April 15th ONLY). Documentation must be in the office on or before the first day of class.
- Must be physically able to perform required tasks/skills.
- Must provide documentation from a physician if you are pregnant stating you have no medical or physical restrictions (including lift restrictions) which would prevent you from performing class and clinical tasks. You will not be allowed to attend class or clinical without this release from your physician and it must be on file before the first day of class.
- Must be drug and alcohol free while attending class and clinical.
- Must be free of criminal convictions within the past 5 years or any that prevent the student from being added to the nurse aide registry. Older crimes will be reviewed by the clinical sites and you must be approved for clinical by them before you can be enrolled.
- Must provide your own transportation to class and clinical facility sites.
- Must complete and print this form and bring the form and the documentation requested on the form to us on or before the first day of class if you require ADA Accommodations.
- Must be able to attend 100% of all class and clinical dates. You must be on time as well and stay for the full class or clinical time.
